Are you still reading this post? You should be going to buy Sorcerer's Apprentice tickets!

The Answer to the Question, Nobody has Asked Me:

Lots of people have asked me, "What does c'est la vie, even mean?"
Well so far nobody has asked me that, and before anybody does ask I decided to tell you.
C'est la vie is a French expression that means "That's Life" but I didn't want to put "That's Life: the crazy life of moi"
It sounds much cooler in French, but then again everything sounds cooler in French.

More Book Suggestions

Well as I said in one of my earlier posts, I LOVE BOOKS! I really do, so anyway I just finished reading this amazing book, like I'm serious this book has to be one of the best in the world (at least in my opinion), I bet your wondering what the title is... well what if I told you I'm not going to tell you...
Okay, I've decided I can't hold it in anymore the name of the book is:
Naughts & Crosses by Malorie Blackman, but I guess I should say that it's ages 14 and up, sorry all you not fourteen year olds.

Update Coming Soon!

Sorry, I haven't posted in a while, my computer has been acting up, you know that problem, no not that one, the other one.
I actually have no idea what's wrong with it, whenever I start it a whole bunch of computer jarble (I think I just made up a new word, jarble, FYI it means incessant babble or chatter.) comes up.
My dad says I need a new hard drive, well if I need a new hard drive, I might as well get a new computer.
If your wondering why I'm posting about my computer problems, keep wondering... because I'm not even sure myself!

TTFN, and BTW more movie reviews, book suggestions, pics, and other random jarble (I really like that word) COMING SOON!
My life still isn't crazy, hmmm... well I'll work on the current crazy status of my life.

Movie Review:

Okay I went to the movies yesterday and I saw Eclipse and I was pleasantly surprised, it was really, really good.

It was really accurate, and really funny... so um, yeah, I liked Eclipse and I would definitely go see it again.

Next I'm going to see Despicable Me, it looks really funny.

Coming to Theatres Near You:

Like I said before I'm a movie junkie, so since I'm one I just thought I'd post the days these movies open:

Despicable Me: July 9th 2010 (didn't realize this had opened already, oops!)

Sorcerer's Apprentice: July 14th 2010 (super psyched to see it, Random Factoid: The guy who plays Dave a.k.a. the Sorcerer's Apprentice (Jay Baruchel) is the voice of Hiccup in How to Train Your Dragon.)

Ramona and Beezus: July 23rd 2010 (starring Selena Gomez, excited to see it.)

So that's that and I know I still have to post those pictures of Zarah... I'm getting to it.

The World Cup Outcome:

Okay so most of you probably aren't World Cup followers... (I'm not really) but I watched the game today and Spain won.

I was mainly cheering for Netherlands, but Spain played a good game and I'm glad that they won.

So yay for Spain, congratulations!

That's mainly it just thought I post something on it...

Movie Review:

You might call me a movie junkie, movieoholic, call it whatever you want but it's the same thing: I love movies.

I love watching the movie, eating the ridiculously expensive concessions, and laughing, crying, or whatever the movie throws at you.

But enough about me (even this blog is all about my crazy life, which BTW still isn't that crazy...)

Tonight I saw Avatar: The Last Airbender, I am an avid watcher of the series, and thought it was really accurate. But Rotten Tomatoes gave it 8% (ouch, that's harsh) and IMDb gave it 4.4/10 stars (ouch, again)... and critics everywhere said it sucked.

Well I completely disagree! The dialogue probably could have been better, the plot a whole lot better, but the special effects were great, the acting okay, and when it comes to it- it was spot on in accuracy.

Until next time... the next review is going to be
Eclipse, you better watch out Eclipse.

Zarah's Reign of Terror:

Good news, I can finally step into my own kitchen without wearing closed-toe shoes!
Why, you may ask that I couldn't step into my kitchen because Zarah (my dog) would try to rip off my toes!
Well she has finally started to be a good girl, and now she actually understands the meaning of the word "no!"

Your probably wondering what Zarah looks like... pictures are coming soon!

Summer Job

Summer... ah, summer, the sweet bliss when everything goes into one mode: relaxed.
Well not me, at least not for this week, I've officially started my summer job at my mom's office.
I file, photocopy, scan, and am the messenger girl (I carry messages from person to person-throughout the office).
Today I did some photocopying...
Well until tomorrow!

P.S. I still haven't done anything crazy, even semi-crazy, I'm seriously starting to doubt the name of my blog.

List of Names We Have for Zarah:

  • Zarah
  • Zar
  • Miss Z
  • Z
  • Beast
  • Beastie
  • Mrs. O'Leary
  • Hellhound
So far these are the only names we've come up with... but I'm sure more on the way! :-)
My personal favorite is Mrs. O'Leary the hellhound from the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series (which I highly recommend to anyone interested in Greek mythology, fantasy, and comedy!) But I gave her the nickname the "Beast".
